For many women, getting their yearly mammography is relatively simple and inexpensive. Unfortunately, however, for many other women across our country, more than you might think, this is not the case. A large number of hard working people have no health insurance and can’t afford to pay for this critically important test. Our mission continues to touch the lives of these women and families in need.

The Coalition Against Breast Cancer, Inc. founded in 1995, is a not-for-profit tax exempt 501C-3 charitable organization not affiliated with any other organization or government agency.

Eradicating breast cancer may sound like a dream but The Coalition Against Breast Cancer continues to believe that through our efforts we can make this dream a reality. This reality continues to grow through the generous support from our individual and corporate donors each of whom should take personal pride in the important role they have played in making our dream possible. Your gifts have and will touch the lives of women and families in need.
Together we have:

• Established an educational Scholarship Fund to assist students whose families have struggled with a breast cancer diagnosis. Awarded over $140,000 in scholarship funds for the 2006-2007 academic year to students across the country. Please read some of the heartfelt letters of OUR students at CABC News.
• Sponsorship at various events that help raise funds for research, diagnosis and cure.
• Established our Mammography Fund, which allows uninsured and under-served women to receive their yearly mammography without additional financial concern.
